Cruisin' Garrettsville!

Great to visit Garrettsville on Memorial Day weekend for the first Car Cruise event of the summer season. Main Street is my favorite venue for these shows as the historic storefront create a wonderful backdrop that literally screams small town America. I was overjoyed when the skies cleared in the early evening as the bright sun creates amazing light and color contrast, and really accentuates the chrome on these classic cars. I find myself reacting more to the sense of place more than the vehicles. I just love the energy of these gatherings. I mostly just wander about the venue lining up shots based on mood, contrast, and moment.
