Colors of Nature Exhibit!

Attended the opening of the Colors of Nature exhibit at the West Woods Nature Center in Novelty Ohio on October 13, 2023. Friday the 13th brought nothing but good luck for artists Jim Trombo and Simone Majetich whose work is being exhibited in a collaborative show that runs through early January, 2024. Simone’s oil finger paintings are rich in texture and generate an explosion of vibrant color on the gallery walls. Jim’s landscape photographs are perfectly suited to the expansive canvas prints he had on display. Brilliant color blended with wonderful scenes of nature with great depth and clarity. With over 70 pieces on display, it took several circuits around the exhibit to even begin to take in the creative effort. The gallery was filled with laughter and conversation as old and new friends mingled. Live music and wine and refreshments added to the festive atmosphere. I channeled this wave of positive energy as I circulated with my camera. Attendees were ever gracious with my never-ending posing requests, and calls for “just one more” photo.
